Intermediate/Advanced ASP.NET (C#) Web Developers

An internationally focused web and mobile software company with offices in London and Cape Town; are looking for experienced developers with a can-do attitude to join their operation in Gardens, Cape Town.

In order to be considered you need to meet the following minimum requirements:

1. At least 3+ years experience developing with ASP.NET (C#)!
2. Proven expertise in ASP.NET (C#) framework 1.1, 2 and 3.5 (Using MS Visual Studio 2005 and 2008) with an Object Orientated approach to coding.
   1. Delegates
   2. Design Patterns
   3. Nullable types
   4. Generics
   5. Localisation
3. Proven expertise in T-SQL script (writing Stored Procedures, Functions and so forth) for SQL Server 2000 and 2005.
   1. Be well versed in Server Management Studio and Enterprise manager
   2. Be experienced in query optimisation
4. Proven expertise in AJAX. (Show an understanding of various libraries and debugging principles)
5. Web Services
6. Experience of developing n-tier applications
7. XML
8. XSLT
9. Understanding and experience of IIS administration and security
10. Good knowledge of JavaScript and HTML, XHTML, DHTML & CSS. (Show an understanding of cross browser, cross platform coding, etc.)
11. Experience of CMS integration (Sitecore, Episerver) a bonus
12. Experience of Sharepoint a plus
13. Strong attention to detail
14. Ability to work remotely with project managers and clients using various Internet based audio and video conferencing facilities.

In addition to these, the following are also desired:

• A business science or ICT related degree / diploma
• Exposure to Microsoft Silverlight
• Exposure to other web technologies like JAVA, PHP, PERL, MySQL, PostgreSQL, CGI and Apache will be an advantage.
• Graphics applications (Photoshop, Fireworks etc.)
