Technical Project Co-ordinator

This role would be focused on not only managing the projects and ensuring they are met on time, but also a conduit between senior stakeholders and the development team, and potentially also conduit between clients and implementation teams, and assisting with Operational and Traffic Management.

• The role will be quite varied and some training will be involved especially as regards new and emerging media and global trends
• Project Planning,  Execution and Control
• Project Resource Management (small to large projects)
• Manage contracts and teams (in-house and remotely)
• Project Risk Management
• Accurately define budgets and assist in compiling quotations
• Excellent Customer Relationship Management
• Ability to professionally convey status on a number of projects
• Co-ordination, and management of team meetings
• Quality Control of all outgoing project deliverables
• QC testing and Quality Assurance (QA)
• Ensuring that dev’s implement changes correctly
• Proofing of all content / materials to be sent to clients (from creative or development teams)
• Ensuring accuracy and performance of websites or applications
• Identifying Sales / Marketing / Business Development opportunities
• Process structuring, implementation, documentation and management
• Ad-hoc updates of existing projects
• Reporting
• Blogging – as part of the voice of the Company
• Admin and other ad-hoc responsibilities that may be assigned from time to time

Requirements

• Tertiary education (BComm., Business Administration, Project Management, web development diploma or equivalent)
• A firm grasp of LAMP
• Attention to detail

• Superb understanding of the Internet

Advantageous

• Skills in any of the following: XHTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP, C#, Java, MySQL, PostgreSQL, SQL Server, Facebook Platform, various mobile stacks, Flash and Flex knowledge and/or DNS Knowledge
• Previous team leader experience
• Ability to do presentations and public speaking
